What we keep, and why
What we store
Your email address and the name your sign-in provider gives us, so we know who you are. The strategies you write, the settings you choose, and a record of every decision the engine makes on your behalf, so you can see what it did and why.
If you connect a brokerage account, the token you give us is encrypted before it is written anywhere and is never displayed again — not to you, not to us. It is used only to read your positions and, when you have approved a trade, to place it.
If you join the waitlist, your email address is held by Brevo, the service that sends our email, and is used for one thing: telling you when a seat opens. You confirm the address before it is added, and you can leave the list with the link in any email we send.
If somebody invites you to BotStock, the invitation is sent through Brevo too, so it handles the address the invitation goes to. That message is sent once, and it puts you on no list.
What we don't do
We do not sell or share your data. We do not run advertising or tracking on this site or in the product. We do not hold your money — BotStock is not a broker.
Where it lives
On a server in the European Union, in a database that keeps each account's data separate from every other account's at the database level, not just in the application. Sign-in is handled by an identity provider, which is where your password and second factor live; we never see either.
Deleting it
Email hello@botstock.ai from the address on the account. Closing an account disconnects the brokerage and ends every session at once; deleting the data behind it is done on request, and we will confirm when it is gone.
