Using BotStock during the alpha
What this is
BotStock is software for defining and running your own trading strategies. It is offered to a small number of invited testers, on paper trading, so that we can find what is confusing or wrong before it matters. Things will change, and some things will break.
What it isn't
It is not investment advice, and nothing the product or its AI says is a recommendation to buy or sell anything. It is not a broker and does not hold your money. A strategy that has worked in the past — in a backtest, on paper, or live — can stop working, and trading involves the risk of losing what you put in.
Your part
Keep your sign-in to yourself and use the second factor. Connect only brokerage accounts that are yours. Don't use the product to do anything a broker or a regulator would object to. Tell us when something is wrong — that is what the alpha is for.
Our part
We will keep your data as described in the privacy notice, tell you before anything changes that affects your account, and never move real money without both of the switches that guard it being turned on deliberately.
